Hi, I am Cliff Bashforth, a leading image consultant and style guru and a Master of the International Federation of Image Consultants.  I am a personal stylist with over 20 years of experience in the image consultancy business. Whilst working for Wella (UK) Ltd; a job I adored, I came across a company called ‘COLOUR ME BEAUTIFUL’.  It wasn’t until I had a consultation with one of their image advisors that I realised what a life-changing experience having an image consultation was.

Over 20 years later I’m one of the few personal stylists that holds ‘Master Status’ with the Federation of Image Consultants and have just collected one of the top awards in the country: ‘Most Inspirational Consultant’. I was delighted to receive this at the TFIC’s 20th anniversary conference in London.

From then, to now…

I first branched out for myself back in 1988, and in only two years, working with Europe’s leading image company, I have become one of the top image consultants in the country with over 17,000 clients.  I have been lucky enough to work with some outstanding clients, including many major blue-chip companies and the media.  I am a regular columnist on style matters for newspapers and magazines, and I have recently contriburted for Daily Express, Men’s Health & Cosmopolitan along with frequent radio interviews.  Appearing on BBC2 and Granda television and also enabled me gain a higher profile in the media. I regularly speak on a number of different image related topics at events throughout the UK and Europe. I have addressed 500 company directors on board P&O cruise liners in France and Italy, presented at the Institute of Directors and delivered seminars for major banks, airlines and retailers

Corporate Work

The high street has also proved to be a great success as I have worked with a number of the high street retailers such as Next, Marks & Spencer and Wallis where I was commissioned to raise customer service standards at their premises.  I have also worked with banks, financial institutions, retailers, airlines and optical chains in the UK and Europe who rely on my consultancy to promote a polished and efficient staff image through seminars and training courses.
