I’ve eaten until I’ve almost burst! So, until my diet starts on 2nd January I thought I’d take it easy!

Wow! What fabulous weather we’re having! I’ve spent lots of time playing in the garden over the past few days. Well, one has to take advantage of the sunshine whilst it’s here; you never know when it’ll end!

Should I play with the ball or eat the egg??

With all this warm weather we’ve been having Barney has been checking the plants in Daddy’s garden. These flowers and trees have just recently been watered; of course, Barney assisted in the process. It’s inspired him so much that he now wants to visit Chelsea Flower Show!

Barney meets Santa

Written by Cliff in Barney | No Comments »

Barney Bashforth is just over 2 years old now so he’s starting to get an idea of what Christmas is all about. He’d been pestering us to go and see Father Christmas for weeks. We finally gave in and took him along on the 19th December (the day it snowed) so he could show Santa his ‘What I want for Christmas list’.

Another star guest at my birthday party was Barrney Bashforth, the Colour Me Beutiful team mascot! Actually, he was an important part of the evening as he’d celebrated his birthday the week before (7th October). It means of course that Barney’s star sign is Libra also!

“I really like the postman & postlady that delivers mail to my house. Of course, they’re much bigger than postman Steiff”, says Barney.

This image was taken on another sunny day in May. Watch out for more pictures each month; Barney chooses his favourite Steiff teddy bear to be photographed with every 4 weeks!

Here’s Barney lying in the sun on Easter Sunday with one of his favourite Steiff Teddy Bears. (His egg melted in the heat!) He’s decided to show his friends a new teddy each month.

This month Barney is sat with Harlekin, edition 2000 (so he’s seven and a half years older!) Keep an eye open for next months Steiff Teddy Bear.

Barney in his new winter coat

A friend of my Dad’s, Auntie Tanis bought me this fabulous coat for Christmas. I’ve been wearing it through the winter to keep me warm.

So, I’d just like to say thank you to Auntie Tanis for thinking of me and for helping to keep me warm & snug during the cold weather; I haven’t even had a sniffle!!
